Moero! Twinbee: Cinnamon Hakasei wo Sukue is the second Twinbee game and was only released for the Famicom system by Konami. The scientist Dr. Cinnamon has be kidnapped and it is your duty to bring him back home safe. And no less than three pilots are available : The usual blue Twinbee, the pink girl Winbee and the green Gwinbee. All three can also be used for a three players simultaneous play ! ( Option sadly taken out of the American cartridge version... ) Finally, this title is also the only Twinbee game to mix horizontal stages to the usual vertical ones. In both cases, the usual Twin Bee are there : bells ( they look more like Jingle-bells here ) and enemies on the ground that can be destroyed with bombs.

It is interesting to notice that Moero! Twinbee: Cinnamon Hakasei wo Sukue was also released in cartridge format. The Japanese version is quite rare. The American version, however, was renamed Stinger and was probably one of the only early, if not only, Twin Bee game to be ever released to the US.

This second Twin Bee game is a nice surprise. I personnaly love this series from Konami and it is interesting to see how the game evolved from the original arcade game released back in 1986. This title is the only Twin Bee game to offer horizontal stages. However, because the game keeps the same 'mechanics', bells are really tricky to collect in those levels. A curious and fun title for any fan of the series.
